Lodges
At Gasper River we have 3 lodges of various capacities that can be booked for day or overnight use. Please look through the information below and call or email our office if you have any questions or would like to take a tour of the facilities or book a retreat.
Boone Lodge
Our newest lodge at Gasper River is beautifully situated overlooking the river. At almost 10,000 square feet, this building will sleep 60 people on bunk beds with Tempur Pedic mattresses in four separate rooms. There are two large, dorm-style bedrooms that sleep 22 each and 2 smaller bedrooms that sleep 8 each. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with changing areas and shower(s). A large meeting room, kitchen area, chapel, and storm shelter round out this amazing building. Boone Lodge has everything you'll need for an overnight or day retreat!
McRaith Lodge
McRaith Lodge is our most used building at Gasper River. This awesome building has a great view overlooking the best rapids on the river and is ideal for overnight or day use. McRaith Lodge has a large meeting room great for gatherings and a loft area for smaller, break out groups. This building will sleep 36 people on bunk beds with Tempur Pedic mattresses in three separate rooms. One side of the building has a bedroom that sleeps 24 and a full bathroom with three showers. The other side has two bedrooms, one that sleeps 8 and one that sleeps 4, and a full bathroom and half bath. McRaith Lodge has a kitchen, loft, and large back deck to handle all of your retreat needs.
Bosco lodge
Bosco Lodge is our smallest retreat building. This cozy area sleeps 30 people on bunk beds with Tempur Pedic mattresses in two bedrooms- one small bedroom that sleeps 12 and has a full bathroom and a larger bedroom that sleeps 18 and has two full bathrooms. Bosco Lodge has a small gathering space with a kitchen area and couches that is great for hanging out. For smaller groups or overflow for larger groups, Bosco Lodge is a great building for your event.
grounds
The grounds of Gasper River offer many accommodations and opportunities for your group. We have a Pavilion overlooking the river that is perfect for talks, group meetings, or Mass as well as a stage in front of a large field. We have several recreation opportunities including Volleyball courts, a mini golf course, several large fields great for group games, basketball courts, 4-square, 9-square, disc golf, 9-square in the air, and the ever popular Gaga Ball. We also have many prayer spaces on the grounds including a Rosary Walk by the river, a Marian grotto, a Stations of the Cross hiking trail, and a Stations of the Cross walk along the river. We have several hiking trails, including a trail that leads up to our clearing and the Frassati Overlook, a deck overlooking nearby farms all the way to Jackson Bridge Rd.
